Reader’s Theatre – Kindergarten Parental Engagement

As part of the Reader’s Theatre, parents and students collaboratively chose stories connecting it with the ongoing Unit of Inquiry, Social- emotional wellbeing, Learner profiles, multi – lingualism, life skills, moral values, and fun. They further used creative means of their choice to narrate the story like props, puppets and  role play to make the story more fun and engaging for the audience. Parents and students enhanced their self – management and communication skills through this engagement and encouraged the other students to enhance their comprehension and listening skills.
