The Mental Health fest was a two-day event where students of PYP 3-5 participated in hands-on strategies that could help them enhance their well-being as well as develop their mental hygiene. The area was set up with dim lights and soothing music, and communication only through gestures, thereby giving the entire experience a calming and relaxing effect for all. Each station was chosen carefully to equip students in coping skills.
This experience provided students a deep insight on self, one’s strengths, application of ATL skills and most importantly learning a strategy that could help them manage their Mental Health. Many students realized their inner strengths to manage self, learnt to work quietly and developed deeper understanding on maintaining Mental Hygiene.
