‘A Mind Without Craving’ – book by a former Student Delson Armstrong!

Delson Armstrong is the author of the Red Serpent series of books. His first book, and the first in the series, Red Serpent: The Falsifier, was published in 2010 and won the popular choice award for Best Vampire Fiction of 2010. Two months later, he published Red Serpent: The Prophet’s Secrets, and in June of 2011, he published Red Serpent: The Elemental King.

He has recently authored another book ‘A Mind Without Craving’ which is a deep dive into the principles and practices of early Buddhist meditation. It offers a collection of instruction and dialogue sessions transcribed from a ten-day meditation retreat led by Delson Armstrong. It is a practical guide to understand the Buddha’s Noble Eightfold Path for the attainment of awakening and the experience of Nirvana.

Delson studied in Pathways World School from 2003 to 2006. He later pursued a career in screenwriting from the New York Film Academy.

While presenting the book to the School last week, Delson wrote a wonderful letter sharing his memories of the school and expressing his gratitude for the education and exposure that he received at Pathways, to be one of the major contributors to his success and achievements!
