The Second Edition of the Columbia Annual Trial Run was hosted at Pathways World School, in association with Columbia Sports and Run With Me Foundation on Sunday, 11th March 2018.
With total participants around 500, out of which 200 were Pathways Students & Parents, the Run started from and ended at Pathways World School. There were five categories, including a run of 7 km, 14 km, 21 km (half marathon) along with a 4 km and 7 km walkathon. Enthusiastic Runners from Delhi-NCR and other cities hit the new trail in the Aravalli hills as they negotiated the rugged yet scenic route, which is a mix of concrete and soiled stretches. The trail, which was explored last year, was chosen for a half marathon along with some other categories of running and walkathons at the Columbia Annual Trail Run (ATR) on Sunday. While most were in competitive mode, several runners participated just to be close to nature and have fun. The race was flagged off at 5.30am from the School and the runners navigated the 10 km Pathways Trail across the several categories.
Parritosh Dhoot of Grade 11 was the overall winner in the age category of 14 – 18 in 7 Km Run and Dr. Hemant Singh, Faculty Pathways World School was the overall winner in 21 Km Run!
