PSG students wins First Tech Challenge at the national level

Pathways School Gurgaon is delighted to share the success of two students from the Diploma Programme. Team ACDC captained by Abhimanyu Dev Singh, Captain Water House, are winners at the national level of the First Tech Challenge and the only team to have been considered in all 15 categories of awards. Abhiraj Gulati, also a student of DP1 and Team Member- Technology, was a part of this winning team which also won the Captain of Winning Alliance out of 29 participating teams.

FIRST TECH CHALLENGE, popularly known as FTC, is a robotics competition for students from 12-18 yrs.in the words of the organisation that manages it, ‘Guided by adult Coaches and Mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles (like keeping an engineering notebook), while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and sharing ideas. The robot kit is reusable from year-to-year and can be programmed using a variety of languages, including Java.’ The team will now represent India at the competition to be held in USA in April later this year.
