A Double Celebration- Primary School Marks Investiture and Deepawali

On 13th October 2017, the Amphitheatre wore a festive look, decorated with flags and flowers for a double celebration- The Primary School Investiture Ceremony and Deepawali Celebrations with our Support Staff Members. As one group of students were vested with leadership opportunity, the other group of students put up a scintillating show for our support staff, who contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of the School.

It was a solemn occasion when the Primary School Student Council for the Academic Session 2017-18 formally took over the reins of leadership with the pledge of upholding the values and ethos of the School and leading by example. Our School Director, Dr. Naidu felicitated the Council Members with badges. Isha Tankha, the Head Girl and Jai Barve, the Head Boy of the Primary School administered the oath to the Council Members. The Principal of Primary School, Ms Monica Bhimwal encouraged the students with her inspiring words. The ceremony witnessed melodious English and Hindi songs and contemporary dance forms, which created a joyful exuberance in the atmosphere.

To strengthen the Pathways tradition of connecting people and cultures through celebrations, Primary School organised a cultural program for the Support Staff to celebrate Deepawali. The audience was enthralled with songs, dances by the Early Years students and a Nukkad Natak highlighting the importance of an eco-friendly Deepawali.

To acknowledge the contributions of the Support Staff they were gifted earthen lamps, which were beautifully decorated and packed by the staff and students of the Primary School. Dr Naidu wished everyone a Happy and Safe Deepawali.

A wonderful way to begin the Festive Season: empowering students and expressing gratitude to the helping hands!
